SRAFESRAFE | Local Station

The SRAFE Local Station software consists of a modulus that acquires the analog and digital channels continuosly and stores the values with 14 bits of resolution. In case of a trigger, the pre-trigger, post-trigger and extended fault data are transferred from the board to the PC and an event file is generated for later evaluation.

The real time RMS value for each channel and equipment status like time, date, fault counter and last event information are displayed in the main screen. An audible alarm and an external contact are provided to indicate recorder activation. The trigger status is signaled with color lights indicating armed, disarmed or activated.

All changes and events are recorded in a log file with information of time and date, and description of the event.

Recording times are fully configurable for each event file and an extended fault time records an additional time if a trigger is asserted during the post-fault time. The event files are stored in COMTRADE IEEE format.

An Ethernet connection may be used for downloading event records, transfer real time information to a Master Station PC, voltages, currents and calculated values (P, Q, S, etc may be sent to one or more PCs.

The recorders can be remote controlled (screen and keyboard captured) from any authorized PC in the network.

The Analysis feature offers an array of advanced tools for navigating traces, peak hopping, amplitude and time scaling, superimposing, peak detection, RMS and phase calculation, the display of harmonics, instantaneous values, sequence components, triggers, envelopes, and time synchronization of multiple records in one easy to use friendly interface.

Voltage and Current Input Modules:

  • Signal adapter modules include protection circuits, galvanic isolation, anti-aliasing filtering and sample and hold for simultaneous channel acquisition.

Fault files can be sent automatically to an e-mail address or Dropbox type account.

Optional Analyzing Software:

As the records are generated in COMTRADE IEEE format, any software that reads COMTRADE files may be used. Optional software can be provided.
